ABOUT TASHA TUDOR
American illustrator and writer who worked on various children's books including Pumpkin Moonshine, A Time to Keep, and Tasha Tudor's Seasons of Delight.
She published her first story, Pumpkin Moonshine, in 1938 and created it for her husband's young niece.
She received numerous awards for her work including Caldecott Honors for Mother Goose in 1945.
She was married to Thomas McCready from 1938 until 1961 and they had four children.
She illustrated for a 1975 book called The Night Before Christmas based on the poem of the same name by Clement Clarke Moore .
