ABOUT TATSUYA KITANI

Singer-songwriter, bassist, and composer far-famed for serving as the bassist of the band Sajou no Hana, originally signed by Warner Brothers Home Entertainment in August of 2018. He has since been signed by MASTERSIX FOUNDATION of Sony Music Records. Some of his hits include "The Trash Room Sinks into a Rust Color," "Shiromuku," "Cinnamon," and "Ghost."

After being inspired by bands such as Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Vola and the Oriental Machine, he formed several bands with friends throughout his middle and high school years. He graduated from the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, Faculty of Letters at the University of Tokyo in 2018. That same year, his band Sajou no Hana released their debut single "Hoshie" and he released his debut solo album, "I DO (NOT) LOVE YOU."

He was inducted into the Japanese video-sharing web service Nico Nico Douga's Hall of Fame after the music video for his song "The Trash Room Sinks into a Rust Color" reached 100,000 views.

He was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.

He collaborated with Yorushika music producer N-buna for his song "Chiharu" in 2022. He wrote the theme song "Rapport" for the BLEACH original manga art exhibition by illustrator Tite Kubo .
