Right winger who made his NHL debut during the 2007-2008 season for the Los Angeles Kings and joined the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2010.

He played hockey for Lake Forest Academy in Chicago.

In 2008, he was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team.

He was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Defenseman Rob Blake was his teammate on the Kings.
