He was a multi-sport athlete growing up and played football at the University of Maryland.

He had a brief role on Sex and The City early in his career, and, in 2012, he played Patrick on American Horror Story: Murder Hous e.

In 2013, he married Milissa Skoro. He has brothers named Christian and Ricky.

He starred on Masters of Sex alongside Michael Sheen .
