ABOUT THABO MABOGWANE

One-half of the percussion-driven electronic dance duo Black Motion . The group debuted in 2011 with the debut album Talking To The Drums and would go on to release other hit albums including Fortune Teller and Ya Badimo.

Though Black Motion was formed in 2009, it wouldn't be until the following year that their professional music careers began.

In 2017, Black Motion won two South African Music Awards for Best Group of the Year and Best Dance Album.

He has occasionally posted photos of his girlfriend, Rakgadi, on Instagram. He is also known by the pseudonym Smol.

He is joined in Black Motion by Bongani Mohosana .
