Second-born son of Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols . His father, Tristan, was signed by the Chicago Bulls in February 2022. His mother, Maralee, is a popular social media personality and influencer.

His mother first moved to California in 2019. Nearly one year later, his parents first met during a party in Encino.

His father won an NBA Championship as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2016 Finals. The Cavs defeated the Golden State Warriors 4-3 in the series.

He lives along with his mother in Los Angeles, California. He is one of three siblings.
