In April of 2023, he posted a video about Twitter's algorithm which he said has "massive" problems. He has earned more than 500,000 subscribers on his ThePrimeagen YouTube channel. His videos include tips on how to get a job in tech or get rehired.

His father died when he was just seven years old. He was raised by his mother.
