ABOUT THON MOREIRA

Brazilian professional footballer who is known for playing as a striker and winger for a variety of different Indonesian clubs including Persipura Jayapura in the Liga 1 and the Sriqijaya club.

His youth career began with the Sao Paulo club in 2000. He went on to make his senior career debut with the Palmeiras B team. He eventually moved to the XV de Piracicaba in 2002 where he scored his first professional goal. He went on to play for a range of different clubs before settling with Persipura Jayapura in 2018.

He helped the Sriwijaya club win the Indonesia Super League during their 2011-12 season.

He was born and raised in Pindamonhangaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Diego Michiels has also played for Sriwijaya.
