She obtained a double major in sociology and art with a minor in music and film studies. She also studied fashion merchandising and trend analysis at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

She has worked as an on-air fashion host and editor for Joyus.

She married Nikko DeTranquilli in August of 2007.

She and Kritika Khurana both curated fashion and lifestyle blogs.
