ABOUT TOM CHADBON

Character actor who has primarily performed on British television series, including his most notable roles as Duggan and Merdeen in the Doctor Who series. He has also appeared in Game of Thrones as High Septon Maynard, and in the 2006 film Casino Royale .

His earliest roles date back to the 1970s, including The Alf Garnett Saga.

In addition to the two roles he portrayed on Doctor Who, he was also considered for the role of Colonel Archer and offered the part of Varlik within the series.

In 1977, he married wife Jane Hennessy. He has two sons.

He appeared in the film Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig and Judi Dench .
