American actor known for his numerous television credits, including his starring role in the comedy-drama series Casual . His other television credits include FBI , Curb Your Enthusiasm , Four Weddings and a Funeral , and Code Black . In 2020, he starred in the comedy drama film She's in Portland.

He attended Princeton University .

He was a co-creator of the short-lived sitcom Sons of Tucson . He was featured in a 2015 article for Glamour. In the cartoon series Rugrats , he voiced the character Stu Pickles. Another popular sitcom he appeared in was The Mindy Project . Throughout the course of his career as an actor, he appeared in over 50 different titles, from film to television shows.
