ABOUT TOMMY KöRBERG
Swedish singer and actor known for his portrayal of Anatolij Sergievskij in the musical Chess. His other theatre credits include The Sound of Music and Les Misérables . He has appeared in a number of notable Swedish films and television series, including Ronia: The Robber's Daughter, Där regnbågen slutar, and Finaste familjen. He released his first solo album, Nature Boy, in 1968.
He began his music career in 1965 as a member of the Swedish pop group Tom & Mick & Maniacs.
He won a Grammis award in 1969 for Best Debut Performance. His performance in the 2002 Swedish production of Chess earned him a Guldmasken award for Best Actor in a Musical.
He was born Bert Gustav Tommy Körberg. His son, Anton Körberg, is an actor and musician.
He has performed songs by Jacques Brel , most notably on the 1982 album Tommy Körberg och Stefan Nilsson tolkar Jaques Brel.
