ABOUT TOMMY TOWNSEND

NFL punter that was first signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Following that season, he was named to the 2020-21 PFWA All-Rookie Team.

He initially began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee . After one year, he then transferred to the University of Florida .

He earned his first NFL Pro Bowl appearance following his 2022 NFL season. He was also named a member of the first team All-Pro as well.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Orlando, Florida area. He is one of two brothers; his older brother Johnny Townsend , is also an NFL punter.

He was coached by Andy Reid during Super Bowl LVII.
