Zimbabwean songwriter, singer, guitarist, and dancer better known by his stage name of "Dhewa." Over the course of his two-decade career, he released over a dozen albums.
He established his musical reputation in the 1990s as a singer with a band called the Utakataka Express.
His hit songs included "Naye" and "Samanyemba."
He was raised in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.
He and DJ Qualls both suffered from lymphoma.
