Norwegian soccer player who played for Plymouth Argyle, Cardiff City, Leeds United, Morecambe, and Oxford United. He has played both as a left back in defense and in the midfield as a left winger.

He started his career at Birmingham City, where he was a youth trainee.

He represented Northern Ireland in his international career.

He married his childhood sweetheart Kira, and they have two children.

He and Joe Ledley both played for Cardiff City.
