In 2015, he had a small role in the series Hand of God .

He played Young Nat Turner in the 2016 film The Birth of a Nation. He was in the 2019 film American Skin . Both films were written and directed by Nate Parker . He has made over a dozen appearances in different films and TV series'. His is also an athlete, and a model.

In November 2021, he shared a Facebook photo with his mother and father and wrote "Family Time! I have the best parents."
