Tony Modra

ABOUT TONY MODRA

Athlete and former Australian football player who played in the Australian Football League. He represented the regions of Adelaide from the years 1992 to 1998, as well as Fremantle from the years 1999 to 2001. He retired from football in the middle of the 2001 season.

As a child, he played both football and soccer.

He played for West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League. He also became a cattle farmer and played local football. He was inducted into the Adelaide Football Club Hall of Fame in the year 2015. He stands 6'2" tall.

In the year 2008, he married Erica Jacobs. They have children named Hayley May and Luke.

In the year 2011, he joined football icons such as Mark Ricciuto , Brendan Fevola , and Matthew Lloyd in a charity State of Origin Slowdown match.
