ABOUT TRENT FREDERIC

Professional center that was drafted by the Boston Bruins during the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played collegiate hockey at the University of Wisconsin .

He is a graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School in Creve Coeur, Missouri. While there, he played hockey, football and baseball.

As a young hockey fan growing up, he loved to watch the St. Louis Blues play. He also credits Keith Tkachuk and David Backes as being some of his favorite hockey players. He was the 29th overall pick of the 2016 Draft. In his first 45 games as a professional player, he scored 4 game-winning goals.

Growing up, he lived with his family in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the youngest of two brothers.

He is a former Wisconsin collegiate athlete just like Frank Kaminsky and Devin Harris .
