She also portrayed Latisha on the series Queen Sugar and had minor appearances on series such as NCIS: New Orleans , Claws , and Poker Face . Her film credits include Five Feet Apart and the Netflix original Tall Girl .
She made her acting debut playing Naomi on a 2011 episode of the TV series Breakout Kings. Just 2 years later, she earned her first feature film credit, playing a small role in the 2013 movie Standing Up.
She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans , graduating in 2017.
She became engaged to Dejuan Parker on November 11, 2022.
