Rapper who became known as a member of the collective hip hop group Ghetto Inmates. He rose to fame for the release of his original song "Wet Em UP," which was featured in Grand Theft Auto IV's radio station The Beat 102.7 as well as in the Playboy X trailer.

He started his music career in 1999 with Dreamworks Records and released his first album Cryin' Out Loud in November 2001.

He landed an audition with Jay Z early on in his career and convinced him of his skills which led to his first six figure record deal. He has been signed to rapper Jay Z 's Roc-A-Fella Records.

His real name is Roberto Guzman Rosado Jr., but he is better known by his stage name Tru Life. He has a brother named Marchs. They were sentenced to jail for gang assault.
