ABOUT TYONDAI BRAXTON

Songwriter and musician who served as guitarist and vocalist for an experimental rock band called Battles. He also released several solo albums, including Rise, Rise, Rise and Central Market.

He studied musical composition at the University of Hartford.

He collaborated in 2014 with a German music duo called Mouse On Mars.

He was born in New York City and raised in California and Connecticut.

His father, Anthony Braxton , also had a career as a composer.
