Her professional singing career began in 2012. She was featured on a BtoB song called "Love Virus" that year.
She has been featured on official soundtracks for The Suspicious Housekeeper, Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, Wonderful Days, Cunning Single Lady, My Secret Hotel and many others.
Her birth name is Yoo Sung-eun.
She and Son Seung-yeon both competed on The Voice of Korea. Son Seung-yeon won the first season of the show.
