ABOUT VAIDOTAS MARTINAITIS

Television and film actor best known for his turn as Warden Melnikov on the blockbuster Netflix series Stranger Things . He also made a minor appearance in the 2008 war film Defiance.

He played the trumpet while attending the Klaipeda S. Simkus Higher School of Music.

He has been a member of the Oskaras Korsunovas Theatre Company. In 2012, he began working with the Kaunas State Music Theatre. He taught performance through the sports dance collective Ratuto. Throughout the course of his acting career, he has appeared in more than 30 titles. Of his many appearances, he played the character Warden Melnikov in Stranger Things .

He was born in Lithuania.

He was cast on Stranger Things which stars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour .
