ABOUT VERONICA BENNETT
Children's novelist best known for her book Dandelion and Bobcat, which was published in 2000. She has written more than 2 dozen additional books, and some of her other titles include The Boy-Free Zone, Angelmonster, and Shakespeare's Apprentice.
She earned an Honors degree in English from University College in Cardiff before beginning her career as a freelance journalist. She also previously worked as an English lecturer for a time before becoming a writer of fiction.
The Times Educational Supplement referred to Monkey as "an impressively well-written and audacious debut."
She is married and has two children.
