ABOUT VICTOR HUGO

Professional soccer player and athlete who is known for his time as a midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Flamengo. In May of 2022, he made his professional debut for the club in a match against Associação Atlética de Altos.

He started playing soccer at age three. At six, he joined the Madureira futsal team, before being picked up by Vasco da Gama.

He idolized Neymar and Vinícius Júnior while growing up. He playing style has been compared to Lucas Paquetá . He was called up for the Brazil national team in January of 2017 for a friendly against Colombia, but remained an unused substitute. He stands 6'2" tall.

His father is named Wellington Hugo.

He was coached by Jorge Sampaoli .
