ABOUT VIKTOR JOHANSSON

Swedish goalkeeper who kicked off his professional soccer career in 2017 with Premier League club Aston Villa . In 2020, he joined EFL Championship club Rotherham United. In March 2023, he was called up to the Swedish senior national team for the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

He played youth soccer with Hammarby and Aston Villa.

He was the Rotherham United Young Player of the Season for 2020-21. His fans refer to him as The Viking.

He and Conor James Coventry became Rotherham United teammates in 2023.
