ABOUT VINAYAK TORVI
Indian classical singer, vocalist, entertainer, performer, artist, and musician who is known for his music festival performances, his lectures, and his streamed radio show performances that showcase his Hindustani singing skills.
He developed a passion for music from his father who was also passionate about music. He began his formal music training when he was just nine years old. He attended Karnataka University, where he received both a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree in music.
He has also worked as a bank manager for many years in addition to being a musician. He toured England, Scotland, and France for concert and lecture demonstrations of Hindustani music in both the years 1991 and 1992.
He was born and raised in Ranebennur, Karnataka, India.
His music has been compared to and inspired by Bhimsen Joshi and L Subramaniam .
