Star linebacker for the Virginia Tech Hokies from 2003-2007 who earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2006. He went undrafted in 2008.

He was a first-team all-state player for Western Branch High School in Virginia.

He was signed to St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills practice squads before signing with the Richmond Raiders of the Indoor Football League.
