ABOUT VIVIEN GREENE
The wife and muse of novelist Graham Greene , she became famous as a collector of dolls' houses. She published several books on her favorite topic, including English Dolls' Houses of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries (1955) and
Family Dolls' Houses (1973).
She was born in Africa. When she was in her teens, she published a poetry and prose collection titled The Little Wings.
She passed away in England at the age of ninety-nine.
She met her future husband, Graham Greene, after he responded to a critical letter she had sent him about one of his literary works. The couple became parents to Caroline and Francis Greene (born in 1933 and 1936, respectively).
Her first published work of poetry included an introduction by the author G.K. Chesterton .
