Wakin Chau
ABOUT WAKIN CHAU
Taiwanese singer and actor who has recorded more than 40 albums during his long and illustrious career. Several of his albums have gone Platinum, including You Make Me Happy and Sad, Flower's Heart and Music Brings Us Together.
He was born in his family's rice store in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong. He picked up guitar at age 13 and studied Mathematics at National Taiwan University.
In 2008 he formed the Taiwanese supergroup known as Superband, featuring the likes of Jonathan Lee, Chang Chen-yue and Lo Ta-yu.
He married an American woman named Constance Woods. They have a son named Andrew and a daughter named Anya.
He performed alongside artists like action movie star Jackie Chan at the STARS charity gala dinner.
