ABOUT WALEED AL SHAMI

Iraqi singer and composer who is known for his popular songs "Brwazt Taifak", "Safert Ani", and "Thahab". He is also known for his collaboration works with several popular Middle Eastern artists including Kathem Alsaher and Ahlam Alshamsi .

He started his career writing music, earning recognition with credit for the popular Hatem Al Iraqi song "Ya Mhajir". He then made his debut as a singer in 2008 when he released his debut album Mussiba.

He is also known for having composed several songs for the Gulf Royal Family throughout the 2014 season. His musical fame has led him to amass more than 950,000 followers on his Instagram page.

He was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq and originally started playing music with his brothers Saadoun and Raid.

He is known for having written music for and collaborated with fellow Middle Eastern musician Rashed Al-Majed .
