She obtained her Associate's Degree in Marketing from the University of Houston . She started her blog in 2018 to share her experience as a personal stylist and her love of fashion.

After being laid off from her analyst job at a gas company during the global pandemic, she began to wonder if a full-time influencer career was possible. About a year later, she was selected as one of 25 ULTA Beauty ambassadors for 2021.
