ABOUT WAYNE LAI
Hong Kong actor who is considered one of the most successful actors from the city. He is best known for his role as the character Chai Kau in the drama series Rosy Business.
He began working at the television network TVB in 1983 as a clerk in the administration department. In 1985 he quit to enroll in the company's artist training program, before rejoining as an actor. His television debut was in the 1986 docu-drama Price of A Green Card.
His traditional name is Lai Yiu-cheung. He is one of only three actors who have won three TVB Anniversary Best Actor awards.
In 1997 he married Julia Leung. They have one child together.
