Will Brenton

ABOUT WILL BRENTON

English writer, producer and director who is best known for directing the UK's landmark soaps EastEnders , Emmerdale and Hollyoaks . He has received 6 BAFTA nominations and won one BAFTA.

He attended
Old Hall High School. He was a presenter on the BBC children's programme Playbus. From 1991 to 2000, he wrote and appeared in the pantomimes at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry.

He has co-created, written, produced and directed some of UK's best-known programmes for children, including The Tweenies, Jim Jam and Sunny, Fun Song Factory, BB3B, Wibbly Pig and Florries Dragons.

He has one son.

Nick Pickard and Ashley Taylor Dawson starred in the soap opera Hollyoaks he directed.
