Cornerback who began his collegiate career with the University of Michigan in the year 2022. He was the top-ranked high school recruit out of the state of Michigan according to 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals.com.

During his high school years, he showcased his football talent at Grosse Pointe South High School. In his senior season, he recorded an impressive 45 tackles, with 31 being solo tackles, along with an impressive 12 pass breakups.

In February of 2021, Johnson made a commitment to join Michigan's 2022 recruiting class, turning down offers from various prominent schools such as Ohio State University , USC, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M University , among others. He stands 6'3" and weighs roughly 190 lbs.

He is from Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of Deon Johnson, a former Michigan defensive back.

He became teammates with running back Blake Corum at the University of Michigan.
