When he was 11 years old, his mother convinced him to take acting classes. He studied the craft at Leila Hayes drama studio.

He enjoys playing both rugby and cricket.

He has an older brother named James who is not interested in becoming an actor.

He stated that some his favorite actors include Robert Downey, Jr. , Heath Ledger , and Jim Carrey .
