William Bronk
ABOUT WILLIAM BRONK
American poet whose collection Life Supports won the National Book Award in 1982. His other notable works include Finding Losses, That Beauty Still, and The Cage of Age.
He began studying at Dartmouth College at the age of sixteen.
He served in World War II as a draftee, and he later became an officer.
He took over the management of the Bronk Coal and Lumber Company after his father's death.
He was a literary contemporary of poet Amy Clampitt .
