ABOUT WILLIAM GAINES
American publisher and editor of EC Comics. He is best known for publishing Mad Magazine for over 40 years.
He trained as an Army Air Corps photographer and later trained as a teacher at New York University.
He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1997.
He was married three times and had three children: Cathy, Wendy, and Christopher.
Wally Wood was a contributor to EC Comics, which he edited.
