ABOUT WILLIAM GOMBERG
American author who is known for writing many academic papers on subjects such as labor, management, and entrepreneurship. He worked as a professor of industrial engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and held professor posts in many other schools.
He graduated from the City College of New York in 1933 with a Bachelor of Science. He worked for Wells Fargo for over a decade.
His research and writings focused a lot on the psychology of management, especially in the 1960s and 70s. During the end of his career, he worked on gathering material for a history of management theory in America.
His wife was Dr. Adeline Gomberg, and they had a daughter named Paula Gomberg Higgins.
He and Beverly Cleary were both American authors writing around the same time.
