ABOUT WILLIS AUSTIN CHIMANO
Pop singer and one third of the Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol who became known for their debut album Mwanzo. They have received numerous awards and nominations from the Kisima Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and BET Awards.
He started the group with friends from high school in 2005 as a cappella group.
He and the group won Best Fusion Artist/Group of the Year at the 2011 Kisima Music Awards as well as Best Music Video.
He was born and raised in Kenya. He attended Upper Hill High School.
Rapper Fetty Wap called him and his band his favorite African musicians.
