ABOUT WOODY BELFORT

Social media star, wheelchair athlete, and motivational speaker who advocates for people with disabilities. He was born with a form of Cerebral Palsy. In 2019, he was part of the bronze medal winning Quebec wheelchair basketball team in the Canadian games. He has amassed more than 310,000 followers on his woody_belfort Instagram account.

He started playing sports at age nine. He attended Rosemont College in Canada.

He has competed in sports such as rock climbing, circus, bodybuilding, wheelchair basketball, and calisthenics. He starred in the 2024 documentary titled Woody: gagner ou apprendre.

He credited his mother, grandmother, and cousins for supporting him.

He and David Weir are both famous wheelchair athletes.
