Xaver Schlager
ABOUT XAVER SCHLAGER
Professional midfielder that was signed by the German based football club RB Leipzig. Prior to RB Leipzig, he played for the Bundesliga soccer team VfL Wolfsburg. He has also made appearances as member of the Austrian men's national team.
He first began playing soccer for the SC St. Valentin youth club at the five. He played for SC St. Valentin from 2003 until 2009.
He made his senior team international debut playing against the Slovenian national team on March 23, 2018. His team won the match 3-0. His contract that he signed with RB Leipzig runs through 2026.
He grew up living with hus family in Linz, Austria.
He has played alongside David Alaba as a member of the Austrian men's national squad.
