Midfielder who signed to play for the soccer club Lille OSC of France's Ligue 1 in 2017. He has also made appearances as a member of Portugal's U20 international soccer team.
He began his youth soccer career in 2003 as a member of the Portuguese Paços Ferreira football club, where he played for four years.
On September 23, 2013 he scored his first professional goal as a member of the Portuguese football club Sporting da Covilhã in a 1-3 home loss against the S.L. Benfica football club.
He is a native of Rebordosa, Portugal. He and Aurela Skandaj announced their engagement in June 2021.
He played alongside José Fonte , Burak Yilmaz and Renato Sanches as a member of the Lille OSC football club in 2021.
