ABOUT YAKOB SAYURI

Indonesian winger who kicked off his professional career with Persewar Waropen in 2017. He has gone on to play for Barito Putera and PSM Makassar, among other clubs. He debuted for the senior Indonesia national team in 2021.

He was discovered by coach Eduard Ivakdalam while playing in his hometown.

Mitsubishi Electric named him the man of the match for a game between Brunei and Indonesia. He represented PSM Makassar in the 2020 AFC Cup.

His twin brother, Yance Sayuri, is also a professional soccer player.

He played as a substitute for Ezra Walian in his first Liga 1 appearance for PSM Makassar.
