ABOUT YANIN VISMITANANDA
Famous for her roles in the early 21st-century martial arts films Chocolate, Raging Phoenix, and The Kick, Vismitananda attained a Third Dan Taekwondo black belt before beginning her acting career.
Her career began in 2003, at which point she was discovered and mentored by Thai martial arts film director Prachya Pinkaew.
She is the sister-in-law of Thai singer and actress Pamela Bowden.
Born Nicharee Vismitananda, she grew up in Bangkok, Thailand, as the second child and only daughter of Pawadol Borirak and Prasita Vismitananda. In 2012, she married fellow actor Andrian Robert Bowden; the couple welcomed a son named Jayden Bowden Vismitananda in early 2013.
She and Tony Jaa were both in the cast of the 2013 movie Tom Yum Goong 2.
