ABOUT YANNA MCINTOSH

Jamaican actress who is known for her roles as Dr. Currie in the television drama Side Effects , Jenni Hernandez in the 1997 television series Riverdale , Edna Myles in The Eleventh Hour and Zona Robinson in This is Wonderland.

She attended the University of Toronto and the Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University.

In 2011, she won the Toronto Theatre Critics' Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in Ruined. Throughout the course of her career as an actress, she has appeared in over sixty-five films and TV shows. Much of her acting career has been spent in television.

She was born in Jamaica.

She worked alongside Charity Shea and Athena Karkanis in the television series The Best Years.
