Yiannis Boutaris

ABOUT YIANNIS BOUTARIS

Greek businessman who became the mayor of Thessaloniki, Greece from 2011 until 2019.

He was taught at the experimental elementary school of the University of Thessaloniki.

He was the founder of the wine company KIR-YIANNI.

His parents were Stelios Boutaris and Fanny Vlachos. He was twice married.

He has read much of the writings of Niccolo Machiavelli .
