Film and television actress who is remembered for her appearances in movies such as Girl with Green Eyes and Come Back Peter. She also appeared on the popular 1960s series The Avengers.

She made her film debut in the 1962 movie Five Miles to Midnight.

She appeared on The Avengers episodes titled, "The Girl From Auntie" and "The 50,000 Pound Breakfast." She also received starring credit on Upstairs Downstairs in the role of a South African aristocrat.

She was married to actor Peter Finch , with whom she had two children. Her kids' names were Samantha and Charles Peter.

She was cast alongside Rita Tushingham in the movie Girl with Green Eyes.
