Japanese singer and actress who acted on the TV shows Trick and Gokusen.
She grew up in a working class family with a fisherman father.
She sang "Moonlight to Daybreak."
She has four older brothers. In 2014 she married actor Tetsushi Tanaka.
She and Jun Matsumoto both portrayed characters in the live action version of Gokusen.
