Yulin Kuang

ABOUT YULIN KUANG

Screenwriter and director who first gained fame in 2012 for her writing work on two episodes of the comedy series Echo Chamber. From 2016 to 2019, she did writing and directorial work for The CW's I Ship It. She directed two episodes of The Healing Powers of Dude in 2020, and an episode of Dollface in 2022.

She studied creative writing and film at Carnegie Mellon University .

Her work on The Healing Powers of Dude earned her a 2020 Daytime Emmy nomination. Her hobbies include figure skating and embroidery. Throughout her career, she has earned over a dozen credits as a writer on different films and TV series'. As well as being a writer and director, she has also been recognized as a producer on various projects.

She is married to cinematographer Zack Wallnau.

She directed the 2015 short film We've Met Before starring Liam Johnson .
